Christian terrorist: 7 dead near UCSB (video)

What is at the root of our Judeo-Christian sexism? Porn, shame, Sharia law? (alarbiya.net)

(ORIGINAL VIDEO, from FurioHerovito, REMOVED. Replaced with "crazy Prozac/Zoloft eyes."

Christian terrorist [Elliot Rodger?] talks about his planned rampage against humanity and women in particular for not paying enough attention to him as his God intended. Is God's gift to women working for the CIA's Boko Haram American chapter to keep females out of college, or is he just blowing off steam after watching cartoons and playing first-person-shooter video games and eating aspartame, processed foods, sugar, and corn syrup?

Christian terrorist kills, injures from car (UCSB)
Investigators are studying YouTube video after family warned police about alarming videos being made by possibly brainwashed Christian terrorist assassin. Was it made to prove all guns need to be remove from citizens? Was he on pharmaceutical antidepressants, too?

C'mon, man, we're just cartoons.
A drive-by shooter went on a nighttime rampage near the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara [home of the biggest parties in Isla Vista, which has become a police state that will only take this tragedy as use it to amp up surveillance, policing, mass arrests, and police brutality in the name of "security"] that left seven people dead, including the attacker, and seven others wounded, authorities said Saturday.

(I'm Shmacked) WARNING: Hedonismalcohol abuse! DelTopia, the UCSB Southern California party scene in Isla Vista. Pretty and privileged, introducing our future leaders. Woo!

Don't shoot! (yogasoup.com)
The gunman got into two gun battles with deputies Friday night in the beachside community of Isla Vista before crashing his black BMW into a parked car, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said.

Deputies found him dead with a gunshot wound to the head, but it wasn't immediately clear whether he was killed by gunfire or if he committed suicide, he said.

A semi-automatic handgun was recovered from the scene near the University of California, Santa Barbara. Investigators know the gunman's name [Elliot Rodger? as suggested by the title of the video above], but Brown said he couldn't release it pending notification of relatives.

"We're analyzing both written and videotaped evidence that suggests that this atrocity was a premeditated mass murder," Brown said.

Investigators study video following deadly drive-by shootings
A disturbing YouTube video posted that shows a young man describing plans to shoot women appears to be connected to the attack, police said. Officials would not say whether the person in the video was a suspect in the shooting. [It's probably another guy talking about shooting women.]

In the video, posted Friday, the man sits in a black car and looks at the camera, laughing often, and says he is going to take his revenge against humanity.

He describes loneliness and frustration because "girls have never been attracted to me," and says, at age 22, he is still a virgin. The video, which is almost seven minutes long, appears scripted. The identity of the person in the video could not be independently confirmed.

The shootings started around 9:30 pm in Isla Vista, a roughly half-square mile community next to UC Santa Barbara's campus and picturesque beachside cliffs. More + Updates

Underground worlds: Buddhist Russia

Amber Larson, Xochitl, Pat Macpherson, Pfc. Sandoval, Wisdom Quarterly; RT News (facebook); Lindsey Bright (curatormagazine.com)
There are habitable caverns all over the planet (Buddha cave/Chatchai laka-mankong/flickr)

RT covers the US well
(RT) Many interesting things are hidden under the ground. In Odessa, Ukraine (formerly Czarist Russia and the USSR, part of Russia's Far East in Northern Asia), man made caves, caverns, and catacombs are scattered across the region -- stretching 2,500 km long, making them the longest in the world, but not necessarily the biggest, however.

These so-called catacombs were home to partisan bases during World War II. In Vladivostok -- the main Russian military naval base in the Far East -- engineers built a fortress at the beginning of the 20th century. Moreover, the largest underground Russian church is hidden in Penza, according to RT.

What greed overcomes the U.S. MIC?
Are there similar deep underground military bases in the United States? Better believe it. They exist under Los Angeles but are most famously concentrated in Nevada and New Mexico, particularly the Archuleta Mesa (Dulce, NM) and in and around the Grand Canyon, Arizona.

These were not built exclusively by the U.S. military, CIA, and MIC (military-industrial complex). Native Americans say they were the home of humanoids referred to as the "Ant People," who live there and saved the lives of humans on the surface from time to time by welcoming them into their subterranean cities, which are not dark or lifeless but fully fleshed out and high tech.

Archuleta Mesa and its off-planet inhabitants
Archuleta Mesa, a bluff in the desert mountains of Dulce, New Mexico

Archuleta Mesa is the central geographic feature of Dulce, New Mexico, the heart of the Jicarilla Apache Nation.... In 2009, 120 people from around the world and the area attended the Dulce Underground UFO Base Conference. One local in attendance was Horacio Garcia. I know Garcia well. I know his kids and family and have spent time with them.

Big, kind, with baggy pants, bandana often tied low on his forehead and tattoos covering his arms, he is known for his knowledge on aliens. In Dec. 2011, I asked him about the Greys and the Dulce Alien Base.

[He answered,] “I don’t have to tell you anything. In a few weeks, everybody will know. The aliens will reveal themselves,” Garcia said. A few weeks passed, and I felt, thought, saw, and believed the same. If I was looking at aliens or alien artifacts, I didn’t see them. Yet, many claim to have seen strange and bizarre sights in Dulce and Lumberton, New Mexico -- coyotes that turn into humans, big orbs of light floating in the valleys, dogs that run faster than a speeding car, Bigfoot (Sasquatches), cow fetuses with the face of a tiger (government research chimeras) -- and (extraterrestrial) aliens, specifically, the Greys. It is interesting to note that according to Hindu and later Buddhist cosmologies, "heavens," usually referring to celestial worlds, are described as existing in space as well as underground inside this planet, which Wisdom Quarterly has covered.

Russia, China beat CIA/MIC: "Pipelineistan"

Future "collateral damage," Afghanistan
While the West imposes sanctions on Russia, Russia is making a deal with China as each has something to offer the other, David Kuo, CEO of the Motley Fool Singapore financial Website, told RT. [One of the real reasons the U.S. fulfilled its longstanding plans to invade innocent Afghanistan -- after fomenting controversy by creating "the Taliban" with the help of Pakistani intelligence, demolishing the Buddhas of Bamiyan, and using 9/11 as the ultimate pretext for invasion, revenge, and an endless war on terror/fear in the Middle East and Wahabhi-Islam -- was for oil. There was a plan to build a massive pipeline to facilitate the plans of American and Western multinational corporations. "No blood for oil" protesters aware of this used to say.] More

Racism in Buddhist Burma: Muslim Rohingya

Beloved daughters of Burma must be protected from feared minority? It's racist discrimination. Sandalwood paste is used on many children to lighten and keep skin clear (Dietmar Temps/Deepblue66/flickr)

Proposed law is discriminatory
(KP) Burma’s human rights record will hit a new low if a proposed marriage bill becomes law. Couched in an idiom that merely seeks to give “protection and rights” to Buddhists, the proposed law targets the country’s Rohingya Muslim minority and forbids Muslims from marrying into the majority community.

Spearheaded by a monk, Ven. Wirathu, the move, it seems, has officialdom’s blessings. President Thein Sein, succumbing to pressure from the extremist lobby, asked parliament to consider enacting such a law, which proposes a 10-year jail sentence for a Rohingya marrying a girl from the Buddhist community without obtaining her parents’ permission.

Vaguely worded, the proposed law, which bans polygamy, would “balance the increasing population” -- of whom, the legislation doesn’t specify. The proposal has also been criticized by Aung San Suu Kyi, who called it “a violation of women’s rights and human rights.”

Already subjected to a discriminatory two-child policy, the Rohingya community is considered by the UN as the world’s most persecuted group. The state doesn’t recognize the Rohingyas as Burma’s citizens [regarded as rightly belonging in neighboring Muslim Bangladesh, who rejects them] even though most of them have been living in Burma for generations. They are not allowed to own land, and they cannot travel without permission. More

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome (talk)

Public talk, Pacifica Radio fundraiser, Sat., March 15, 2014, 2:00-5:00 pm (KPFK)

The chains at Lady Liberty's feet (USS)
While Americans managed to emerge from chattel ("property") slavery and the oppressive decades that followed with great strength and resiliency, we did not emerge unscathed.

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome
Slavery has produced centuries of physical, psychological,  and spiritual injury -- on both the descendants of former slaves and slave exploiters.

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome: America’s Legacy of Enduring Injury and Healing lays the groundwork for understanding how the past has influenced the present. And it opens up the discussion of how we can use the strengths gained thereby to heal. More

Living arguments on gun control (comedy)

No walk on the beach
I'll kill ya...for pointing that at me
The sun had already started setting by the time a former girlfriend and I arrived at Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades one night...

We were going to have dinner at nearby Gladstone’s Restaurant, where Sunset Boulevard ends at Pacific Coast Highway, but decided to first grab a blanket from the car and head down to the sand to watch the sun go down...

It was chilly that night, and few people were out there with us, except for one young man who stood just where the sand turned into parking lot, seemingly watching our every move.

(Comedy Central) We the U.S. are the problem, not our guns, as Canada demonstrates.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZkZqRM4934
After a [while] I didn’t really think much of the guy, but I looked around just the same, to see exactly how alone we really were out there.

Looking back over my right shoulder, my eyes scanned the rest of the parking lot, then north, along the sand. That’s when I saw another young man, this one a short distance from us, walking slowly on the beach, not along the surf but toward the parking lot, all while looking intently at the two of us.

Tea Party Republican Libertarian Na...
He made some motions with his head toward the guy in the parking lot, who by this time was joined by a third man, and those two started making their way into the sand to meet their associate.

Gladstone’s was only about an eighth of a mile away, but it might as well have been miles if we had to run to it in the deep sand in order to get away. By this time, we had finished..., my friend seemingly oblivious to what was going on around us.

(Comedy Central, Daily Show, Part II) John Oliver vows that never again
will a political career end in a senseless act of meaningful legislation.
Let us prevent political suicide in the face of NRA lobbyists.

“C’mon, I think we better go,” I said, grasping the slender neck of the bottle, preparing myself to smash it across one of their heads, if necessary.

“What’s the matter?” she asked before turning around and suddenly realizing that our new friends were actually about to try something.

Guns don't kill people; bullets kill people.
With that, she stood up, faced the three guys and placed her hand inside of her purse, which she then raised up slightly at arm’s length with her other hand. A look of deadly earnestness crossed her face, but she didn’t say a word. They all seemed to understand that my girlfriend was armed with a gun, and, even better, that she at least appeared prepared to use it if need be.

(Comedy Central, Daily Show, Part III) John Oliver: it's pointless for US to
study Australian gun control because the situations are just too similar.

I gathered up our stuff and headed toward the car as she turned toward our potential assailants, never once taking her eyes off of them. They stood there frozen, apparently knowing better than to make any kind of move as we hustled back to the car, got in, and drove away. We never did go to dinner at Gladstone’s. More

My government killing me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZkZqRM4934
Democide is a term revived and redefined by the political scientist R.J. Rummel as the murder of people by their government, including genocide, politicide, and mass murder." He created the term as an extended concept to include forms of government-murder that are not covered by the term "genocide," and it has become accepted among other scholars in spite of the fact that the term democide was defined and used in English more than 40 years earlier by Theodore Abel. In the 20th century democide surpassed war as the leading cause of non-natural death... More

Guns: Are we pro or con?
Wisdom Quarterly (EDITORIAL)
Like Budai, let's throw away the AKs (CC)
We unanimously agree. Our position on guns is that they should ALL be gotten rid of. We cannot have police, the paramilitary, and military retain firearms and expect that citizens, protesters, and advocates of civil liberties would be safe from these deadly agents, who in the past have done so much to violate the Constitution, our rights, and the laws of the land with tacit approval of the court and manipulated juries. It would be Martial Law and oppression that perhaps is only staved off because the two sides, ordinary second-class citizens versus elites and their soldiers, have guns. So they should have access to the same terrible guns.

Killing is unskillful, unwholesome karma. And what excuses we make for this intentional action will do little to alter the bitter fruit of our deeds. Many are willing to kill -- whether motivated by fear, greed, delusion, or hatred. Because that is the subtle underlying motivation, the harm is there. Rationalizations that it is "self" defense or patriotism or attacking one group to defend another group does not change the personally verifiable fact that when it is being done, one of these for motivations is at work.

Nothing good will come of it when that karma ripens. Yet, there are many people willing to shoot and kill for pay, for pleasure, for peer pressure, or simply not knowing and not understanding karma.

We stand for life and for the right of living beings to live oppression-free. Guns are not the way to life or beneficial karmic results. Say no to guns in the hands of authorities or in the hands of second-class citizens. But when they are in the hands of one, it seems they have to be in the hands of the other. Put the guns down.
