USAID, the new CIA?

How America (under its secret-government as the US Military-Industrial Complex) runs the world: By co-creating Facebook, Google, Twitter -- and/or coopting them after someone else creates them -- CIA agents and operatives (as well as the FBI, black-budget Pentagon, DARPA, DHS, the Secret Service, and of course the NSA) foment and agitate for civil war, "revolution," and liberation. 

They're doing what to my America?!

But the goal is not actual freedom and democracy for people in the US or elsewhere, it is to topple uncooperative governments without overtly sending in soldiers. Secret operatives do a quieter, and therefore better, job by avoiding all the sticky accusations of "imperialism," "war crimes," and "illegal intervention."

The CIA learned its lessons well in Vietnam, the Philippines, Egypt (Arab Spring), Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Central America, Kosovo, Grenada, Cambodia, Laos, Tibet/China... It's been all over the world.

"U.S. Secretly Created 'Cuban Twitter' to Stir Unrest" is the name of an explosive new article by the Associated Press detailing how the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) created a fake Twitter program to undermine the Cuban government.

 

The CIA has many guises and operatives

[As Americans, we have the real Twitter spying on us and undermining actual dissent while seeming to stir up all sorts of trouble by facilitating peer-to-peer conversations that are thoroughly documented and used for later investigations and to set people up.]

The communications network was called "ZunZuneo" -- slang for a Cuban hummingbird’s tweet. It was reportedly built with secret shell companies financed through [CIA-controlled] foreign banks. According to the AP, the United States [the MIC] planned to use the platform to spread political content that might trigger a Cuban Spring.

Or it might, as one USAID document put it, "renegotiate the balance of power between the state and society." Democracy Now! speaks to Peter Kornbluh, director of the Cuba Documentation Project at the National Security Archive. "I just enter contests sponsored by DARPA; I can't help what they do with my invetions. If they want to build decision-making killer robots out of my contest winner, that's on them. I don't work for the military. I'm just a garage tinkerer, a code writer, a contest enterer." Oy vey.

3. "We Come As Friends" Anti-imperialist radio host Michael Slate (revcom.us) talks to the film maker showing just how "empire" is accomplished whether it's the British yesterday or the Americans today. The world's newest country is South Sudan on the continent of Africa. When Hillary Clinton visited, she invited investment and exploitation. Come, bankers, "do well while doing good," was her PR campaign's slogan. "There's plenty of money to be made" off of these black-skinned dummies, dark skinned needy, dimwitted pawns, poor, up-and-coming Third World youth. It is what the British did for centuries, and we're just following that Western lineage of invasion, occupation, and unadulterated exploitation while bringing "God" and "civilization" to these savages, those in need...while extracting everything we can via the railroads and infrastructure we first build to benefit ourselves. It's not for them, mind you, but for getting the goods to market by way of the exit ports for shipping. Thanks, future president Hillary; you're a Good Old Boy after all.

4. Southern California progressives have become so open minded that they finally see that "mass incarceration" is a reality and a purposeful policy, a ALEC-style conspiracy? Have professors Michelle Alexander and Joy DeGruy finally broken into the popular imagination? What else could explain quizzing L.A. Sheriff candidates on their views of "mass incarceration"? 5. Dr. Roger Lear, M.D. (alienscapel.com) is dead? The only man brave enough to remove extraterrestrial alien implants, expose them, and live to tell about it... Well, perhaps not the latter. He has succumbed to medical interventions, one of America's leading killers (the iatrogenic effect). Was he assassinated for saying too much? He will be missed, and his evidence cannot be explained by ordinary means. The only way to ignore him is to ignore him. This leaves no messy questions about how inanimate objects, the "implants," have bundles of nerves going to them. Since when does the body not only not reject foreign matter but embrace it more than medical implants? His findings were shocking, so of course they could not be widely reported. To do so would mean having to find a way to dismiss the obvious: there are others, and they occasionally implant people.

6. Republican Chris "Christ" Christie has group sex and makes a polished porn movie about it? That's what Gawker is currently investigating -- with its near forensic analysis of the footage -- and reporting.

7. Then there was something about some missing plane or something? Went off its route straight to Diego Garcia, a military base expert in secrecy for the clandestine military-industrial complex (MIC). It was probably just a coincidence that it was carrying 20 top secret chip researchers, many of them Americans, on their way to the capital of China. Sure the world is searching millions of square miles of sea for them, yeah. Hey, but did you hear about the discounted flights? The spat between the CIA and its congressional "overseers" (actually overlookers since they overlook so much misbehavior) has intensified after California Senator Dianne Feinstein took to the Senate floor to directly accuse the CIA of spying on her overisight committee.

Why was the CIA conducting homeland spying in violation of its charter? It was in an effort to undermine a probe of the CIA’s torture and rendition program by Chairperson Feinstein's Senate committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Is the CIA going to brainwash me again? - What, Feinstein?

Its report has yet to be released but reportedly documents extensive illegal abuses and a cover-up by CIA officials. Feinstein says the CIA broke the law by secretly removing more than 900 documents from computers used by panel investigators. She also accuses the CIA of intimidation in its request of an FBI inquiry of the panel’s conduct.

Iceland liberates itself from its gov't (video)

(The R.E.A.L. Institute - Max Bliss) The people of Iceland forced their corrupt government to resign. A citizens' assembly was created to rewrite the constitution. The banks were nationalized, and it was decided not to pay debt PRIVATE banks created. All of this was accomplished peacefully. What would happen if the rest of the world followed this example?

In spite of a wall of silence by the American mainstream media, Icelanders took to the street and ousted everyone from its government, forcing all members to resign. Ask your relatives in Iceland, because you won't be hearing about it on the US evening news.

 

The unprecedented move followed the worst financial crisis the world had ever seen, which in 2008 set motion the worldwide bank and real estate crises. It all began in relatively safe and isolated Icelandic banking system, which are nevertheless connected to the Euro zone system.

Iceland, a green wonderland and home of Bjork (apparently its main export), took to the streets and peacefully replaced the incompetent government and took to rewriting its constitution in a citizens' referendum. Government agents may have colluded with bankers and high finance traders to enrich themselves personally. That will have to be worked out later if ever. In the meantime, Iceland gets a fresh starts. World governments seem terrified that anyone find out that such a thing is possible.

Iceland is closer than most Europeans think and far stranger than anyone imagines. Over the millennia, glaciers, erosion, and tectonic movement have shaped the land. Winter is amazing as white snow accentuates black lava fields and the dark sky is suddenly disturbed by dancing, flickering veils of Northern Lights. In spring the sun climbs ever higher, warming the earth, and the green vegetation turns a picturesque red, yellow, or brown. It is a paradise for bird watchers. Látrabjarg in the West Fjords is the largest birdcliff in the known world. Iceland is among the 10 best destinations for whale and dolphin watching just offshore in the Grundar fjord and Kolgrafar fjord on the north coast of the Snaefellsnes peninsula.

 

Bloody coups and deposings (depositions?) are the norm in the history we hear. If such a thing were known to have taken place peacefully and by popular revolt -- which was easier in Iceland with its small, homogenous, and unified population -- citizens or libertarians might get the idea to "occupy" their capitals.

Is there a movement across the globe? The Ukraine, formerly a part of Scandinavian Finland and Russia, wants to join the Euro zone. Russia will not stand for it. The solution?
